Plain-language information for developers using the current SportsFoundry pilot service.
SportsFoundry provides a developer API over canonical sports data. Coverage varies by competition, season and capability; the Coverage page is the current product truth for what is available.
The service is currently in pre-release developer validation. Availability, limits and features may change as pilot evidence is incorporated. Material customer-facing changes will be reflected in the published product surface.
We work to reconcile conflicting observations and expose coherent canonical data, but sports data can be corrected after publication. Applications should tolerate corrections, unavailable fields and temporary delays.
Account identity is used to authenticate you and associate your organisations, API clients, usage and audit activity. The current pilot processing, lawful bases, retention approach, recipients/transfers and your rights are described in the Privacy Notice.
Use the API within your plan limits and do not attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits or service boundaries. The current evaluation rules are in the Pilot Terms & Acceptable Use.
The pilot is provided for evaluation and development. Do not rely on it as a guaranteed production SLA until a production service agreement and commercial plan are explicitly offered and accepted.
